Welcome to Lesson 2! The last lesson gave an introduction to the appropriate type of written language to use in peer-reviewed journals. This unit will look at text cohesion. First, we will discuss what cohesion is and why it is important. Then, we will study some grammatical tools, followed by linking phrases, to increase text cohesion.
