During the initial assessment of your submission, journal editors want to know that you have complied with basic ethics.
Show the editor clearly that:
- you haven’t submitted the manuscript to any other journal
- your results are original and unpublished
- all the authors agree with submission to the journal
- any conflicts of interests are clearly identified
- you have disclosed your funding source(s)
- all the authors satisfy authorship criteria
- you have completed all journal forms (e.g., relating to ethics of human/animal studies, copyright transfer, permission to reuse material)
